I'd describe my personality as caring nurturing loving I like working with kids because they always find something simple to smile about, a song a TV show ice cream or a new toy they find joy in the small things. I'm looking for a job that is a good fit for not only myself but the child I care for & their family a great fit is when everyone is happy ! I started working with kids when I was 11 years old I was caring for my niece who lived with us .. then I did years of babysitting . I worked as a preschool assistant teacher for 5 years & also was a caretaker for a disabled woman I've now been a school monitor for the past 7 years & have a 21-year-old son of my own My skills are knowing how to calm a child down when upset & always finding something fun to do whether it's a board game going to the park or reading a book together.
