About Selenia

I have known Selenia for about 10 years as a family friend, and a caregiver to both of my parents. Having helped facilitate Selenia’s employment during the last few months of my parents’ lives (08/20-11/20), I was pleased to witness her hard work, diligence, and compassionate attitude in the face of any situation. As I reflect back on those final months, I can’t imagine having anyone else there to ensure the safety and comfort of my parents. She always kept my parents’ needs as her top priority. If something was new to her -- as my parents each had different medical needs -- she consulted with other professionals to ensure that nothing was missed. My trust for her grew immensely as she patiently worked with me when I didn’t understand something that needed to happen. From the days when my parents were still mobile and only needed minor assistance, to the end-of-life care during their final weeks, Selenia provided comprehensive care that exceeded my expectations.
