About Selena

Hello, My name is Selena. I'm a writer, academic, and educator pursuing a MA. I graduated from the University of Chicago in 2022, worked as a Project Coordinator for 3yrs at Rush Medical Center, and now work as a bilingual substitute teacher for Chicago Public Schools. I teach predominantly Pre-K through 2nd grade classes in English and Spanish across the city. I am seeking full-time or part-time nanny and babysitting roles I grew up in a large family with 5 siblings so I've taken care of kids most of my life. In my opinion, children are the best people on our planet. Kids and their curiosity bring light to my life! I am naturally kind and warm. I am extremely patient with and attentive to children. I enjoy providing them with emotional safety, knowledge, love, and peace because that's all they deserve! In my spare time, I like to read, paint, travel, and watch tv with my closest friends!
