My name is Selena. I have been a certified nursing assistant for over 18years. I started at Henry ford retirement center where I cross trained with many intense cases years to follow. Later, I started working on my own by hiring agencies to match me up with clients who need CENA care at home. I started to transitioning to wok on my own afterwards. I then started to build one on one solid relationships with patient & family members and high was more fulfilling. Now I have over 18 years of extensive experience with Parkinson's/ Alzheimer's and Dementia disease as well hospice needs. I have worked in Independent living, assistant living facilities and a private home care settings now for almost two decades now. I work long hours shifts/weekends. I creat a customized Care plan specifically to every patient needs and wants. From activities of daily living to medical needs/ doctor's appointments and pharmacy RX/ ordering and a weekly jar med setups management.

We hired Selena over a year ago to be my father’s caregiver. He is a large person with demensia along with my mother. I immediately felt at ease when I knew she was coming. She is dependable, dedicated to her patients, and knowledgable about how to care for these special patients with a variety of symptoms. My father had mobility issues and motivation issues and as the time progressed his needs increased and his behavior and anxiety progressed. He became combative and resistant to any care and she was able to use compassion and skill to work with my father to get his personal care needs met. His care progressed to needing three people to help him and moved to a group home as she waited to see if we may transport him back to my home. She went to two addresses and was so accommodating with her schedule throughout the week. She cared for my father like he was her own, which is priceless.
