About Selah Joy

I'm Selah (pronounced SAY-lah). I'm an experienced nanny with several years of full-time childcare experience & babysitting. I've cared for children of all ages & love creating a calm, fun environment where kids can feel comfortable being themselves. I'm have a down-to-earth personality & enjoy reading, crafts, outdoor adventures, imaginative play and getting kids out of the house for activities. I'm also comfortable with meal prep, laundry, tidying & helping keep the household running smoothly. Outside of childcare, I've worked professionally aboard private yachts, which has given me extensive experience in high-level service, organization and maintaining beautiful spaces. I'm used to environments where discretion, attention to detail, flexibility and anticipating a family's needs are important. I'm currently available in the Santa Monica area for one-time and occasional childcare, date nights, weekend care, backup care and short-term positions.
