About Sedef

Hello, My name is Sedef. I was born and raised in Germany and have been living in New York for the past 16 years. I speak English, German, Turkish, and Azerbaijani, and I enjoy naturally introducing children to different languages throughout the day through play, conversation, and activities. During college and afterward, I worked as a nanny for multiple families and cared for children of different ages. I believe in encouraging independence with guidance, while creating a structured, warm, and supportive environment. I love engaging children through creativity, imagination, outdoor activities, arts & crafts, storytelling, and turning everyday tasks into fun learning experiences. My personality combines German structure and reliability with Mediterranean warmth, patience, and understanding. For me, being a nanny means creating a safe, respectful, and positive environment where children can grow, learn, and feel supported.
