About Sebastian

Hello! I am a 20-year-old Nurse Aide, certified at 17. I have 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation facility, where I worked with 200+ patients with varying health and cognitive conditions. I spent about 20 months working daily in Memory Care, where I cared for patients across different stages of dementia, from moderate to advanced. I've applied my CNA training throughout my experience, from ADLs, safe transportation and vital signs to engaging activities, laundry, light housekeeping and medication reminders. I was also trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and have applied those practices many times. I was given the opportunity to pursue this career at 16, and I fell in love with it. Serving others is a responsibility, but also incredibly rewarding. That's what keeps me going as a caregiver. I have reliable transportation and hold CNA, CPR and CPI certifications.
