I am an undergraduate student at the University of New Mexico (in Albuquerque) studying Electrical Engineering. I have an affinity for mathematics and history, and I am a big fan of the arts! My first job I held was a kennel technician/veterinary assistant, so I am very comfortable around animals. I am not allergic to cats, dogs, birds, or any other animals, nor do I get distracted by them. My most recent job had me working in a restaurant where I would constantly work with customers and frequently talk to them. This job also helped me to become very good under pressure and keep a level head when dealing with multiple issues at once. I wanted to start tutoring because I love to help people, and I believe that the best way to do that is by educating them. I'm very passionate about understanding why things work and what they could be used for, and I try to incorporate that into my teaching strategies.
