For the past 19 years, I've been dedicated to helping students unlock their full potential. I am a certified special education teacher, experienced with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). My approach involves creating an engaging and supportive learning environment, adapting my teaching methods to each student's unique style through active listening and varied strategies. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to their interests, celebrating successes, and breaking down complex problems. Communication is key; I provide regular updates to parents, fostering a collaborative environment. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and growing confidence is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I am comfortable tutoring in various locations and can help with Math, English, Test Preparation, Special Education, and Study Skills for elementary and middle school students. I truly enjoy making a positive impact on students' lives.
