About Scott

My name is Scott M, MSW. I graduated with my Master's of Social Work from Fordham University in May 2019. Prior to obtaining my Master's, I graduated from Farmingdale State College in December 2015 and started my teaching career. I am a certified Teaching Assistant. I worked at Hempstead High School for 2. 5 years working with each grade level, more specifically freshmen (9th Grade). After working in high school, I moved on to teach 3rd grade at Rochdale Early Advantage Charter School. I taught 3rd grade for the 2018-2019 school year. This past school year, 2019-2020, I was promoted to be the Scholar Success Coach (School Social Worker). I provide social, emotional, and academic support to all the students that I work with. My goal is make a positive impact on anyone, at anytime in any place. My purpose is to create a nurturing atmosphere where the students feels safe to receive a quality education and to provide them with the necessary skills to become successful.
