About Scott

I'd describe my personality as easy going, energetic, responsible, and a person of service. I have cared for people of all ages. I've helped seniors because they are often a forgotten generation these days. Their life experiences are still important to learn from, they are insightful teachers. My approach is to be an advocate for all those I help, letting them be themselves while preserving their dignity and purpose in life. I started caregiving work when I decided I wanted to better serve others. I began in 2014 part time. I have between about 10-30 hours a week which is ideal for companionship. My days/times can often be flexible. I have been a CDASS employee and have cared for both males and females, including those in wheelchairs who are quadriplegic. One thing to know about me is I significantly care about the people I'm helping. To me it's about making a connection in being a friend and/or mentor to someone. My skills include companionship, feeding, errands and housekeeping.
