About Schylie

Over the past several years, I have cared for children ages 1-12 years old. As a teenager, I also helped my mother raise and care for my 5 younger siblings. I have done mother's helper jobs in which I assist mothers with their children or household chores and been available and flexible for whatever comes up. I have also cared for children in the absence of the parents. I enjoy playing with and reading to children, doing inside and outside activities, doing crafts and other projects, and having conversations with children. I do not prefer the children in my care to spend much time on electronics, and instead I encourage books, puzzles, toys, games, and craft projects. I am experienced in preparing and offering snacks and meals to children, facilitating nap/bed time, bathing and dressing. I also love doing educational activities with children.
