I have 5 years of experience working in Intellectual and Developmental disabilities, 3 of those being as a Wellness Coordination Assistant, and 1 having moved up as the Wellness Coordinator. I was responsible for the care and advocacy of over 50 persons with varying degrees of ability and conditions. I am an AHA Certified CPR instructor and have a passion for psychiatric populations. I am a certified educator for the Health Matters course, which brings basic health education to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I am a very warm and understanding caretaker, who believes in the power of a calm demeanor, an honest voice and a caring bedside manner. I am active and want to bring light into the lives of those I serve.
