About Saylor

I've been babysitting and nannying since I was 15 years old. I'm from Houston, Texas. I'm a rising senior at Colgate University double majoring in Education and Peace & Conflict Studies, living in NJ for the summer with my grandmother while I commute to NYC for an internship. I'm lucky to be the youngest of over 20 cousins, most of whom have children ranging in age from newborn to 12. Additionally, the children I've cared for have been ages 3-10. My experience ranges from one-time babysitting all the way to full-day, summer-long care. I also participate in a club in college where we spend time with elementary school students whose parents work late after school. These experiences have taught me so much about childcare, from how to convince a stubborn4-year-old to rest during nap time, to how to entertain a pre-teen without a screen!
