About Sayaka

Hello, I'm a certified postpartum doula and registered nurse from Japan. I have over eight years of experience working as a registered nurse in Japan and have been supporting families as a certified postpartum doula in the United States for the past two years. My passion is caring for both newborns and mothers during the precious postpartum period. While newborn care is an important part of my work, I believe that a mother's well-being is just as essential. I strive to provide compassionate, personalized support that helps mothers feel confident, cared for, and never alone on their parenting journey. Outside of my work, I find joy in nature, animals, and plants. I believe that we are all deeply connected to the natural world, and this perspective inspires the calm, nurturing care I bring to every family I support. It is an honor to walk alongside families during one of life's most meaningful transitions, offering guidance, reassurance, and compassionate care every step of the way.
