About Sawyer

Hello, I'm Sawyer and I'm excited to get to know your family! My experience includes working in day camp at the children's museum in Lincoln, NE, teaching swim lessons, and babysitting neighbors' and family friends' children. Currently, I work part-time at a dog boarding facility while I save up for college. I have worked with kids in foster care, kids with autism, and kids with anxiety among other things. I was a very sensitive kid, so I try to take a gentle approach because I know what it's like to feel "different." I love meeting fellow neurodivergent people as well. When I work with kids, I balance firmness about set rules with fun, engaging play. Safety always comes first, and I know you are taking a risk by finding a new caregiver. I'm happy to talk more about my experience or anything else necessary to build trust. I'm excited to work with your family to relieve the pressure of finding reliable childcare. I've got lots of whimsy and enthusiasm to bring to the table :)
