Hi! I'm a special education teacher currently on summer break with open availability and a flexible schedule for summer care and date nights. I moved to San Diego three years ago from Sonoma County. I hold a Master of Arts in Special Education, a Moderate to Severe Disabilities credential, an Early Childhood Special Education Authorization, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, all from SSU. I have eight years of teaching experience-six years at a non-public school and two years in a public school-supporting students with diverse needs. In addition to my teaching background, I have extensive experience babysitting and nannying children of various ages and abilities. I truly enjoy engaging with children and creating a nurturing, fun, and supportive environment where they feel safe and cared for. I'm happy to help with occasional date nights or more consistent summer care. I'm excited about the opportunity to connect and support your family!

Savanna was a lifesaver when I was postpartum with my second child and needed a helping hand with my first kiddo. She is responsible, reliable, and so much fun! Kids can be wild but Savanna handled all the difficult moments with ease, patience, and kindness. If I could have kept her full time forever, I absolutely would've. She is worth her weight in gold. She has extensive experience with special needs children and that was extra reassurance for me to know that she can handle anything the kids threw (literally) at her. Leaving your child with a stranger can be so nerve wracking but we always trusted that our children were safe, loved, and well cared for. I'm so grateful for her for being the first person we trusted wholeheartedly to leave our kids for the first time. To this day, my daughter still talks about Savanna and how much we love her. I interviewed and went through many caretakers and none were as wonderful and reliable as Savanna.
