About Savanna

My journey in child care began when I was 16. I was hired at Little Lighthouse Childcare Center in Ellicott City MD as a teachers aide. I have spent every year since working with children both inside a classroom setting and in their homes. My experience ranges from young infancy to elementary school age children, with a special focus in Pre-K age. I like to think i'm still a kid at heart so connecting with them has always come easily! My caring and empathetic nature lends itself well to the traits necessary for engaging and communicating with children, I look forward to working with you! I currently dance professionally with a local company, as a performer my job requires occasional traveling. I understand that families need consistency and schedules are important. With that being said, there will be some weeks where I am unable to work and that only lasts seasonally (september to november/ january-april).
