I have over 5 years of experience working with children and children with special needs. I received my degree in Youth Development and Psychology from the University of Virginia, and I have been a tutor, nanny, and most recently a full-time teacher. I am going to graduate school to become a counselor in the fall, so am just looking for a part-time summer babysitting job, so keep that in mind that I will most likely not be available much in the fall, but will potentially be available some hours in the fall. I have many references if needed.

Savannah babysat for our two year old for a week this summer. Our sweet little guy had tonsil surgery and needed to be kept out of his school for an additional week and Savannah was an absolute godsend. She has wonderful attention to detail, was thoughtful, caring and my son absolutely loved her. She helped prepare his meals and feed him, which had to be done with strategy due to some lingering tonsil pain, and had no issue at all! She really focused on outdoor play and stayed away from screens. What a wonderful babysitter!
