About Savannah

As a big sister of 6, I've been around kids forever. I've taken care of countless children, from neighbors to cousins to being a camp counselor for SPARC. Each experience has shown me the value of a connection with children , how they can teach you just as much as you're teaching them. I'm looking for a job that is both flexible and reliable. Flexibility because I do have another job where I'm needed during lunch hours (1030a-230p), and reliability in that I prefer knowing what my day is going to look like every day. Communication is huge. I'm great at adapting to the needs of each individual child, every kid is different and they each need to be seen for who they are. Conflict resolution between kids is a strong point of mine, working with SPARC kids really taught me that each situation needs a unique approach and a lot of patience. I just genuinely care about them, and I do my best to show them that in every scenario, even when it's one where they've done something "wrong".
