Hi! My name is Savannah , and I'm 20 years old with extensive experience caring for children with special needs. Growing up with my younger sister, who has CHARGE syndrome and Tourette's, I've developed a deep understanding of what it takes to support children with complex medical and behavioral needs. She is deaf, had a G-tube when she was younger, and lives with cognitive delays and behavioral challenges, so patience, empathy, and consistency are second nature to me. Beyond family experience, I've also worked with a family whose son had severe autism and required G-tube care. I'm comfortable supporting children with sensory sensitivities, communication barriers, and a range of developmental or emotional needs. Additionally, I currently work alongside a colleague with autism through a program that supports inclusive employment, which has strengthened my ability to communicate and collaborate with people of all abilities.
