I have professional experience working as a home health aide, providing care and companionship to nursing home residents. Assisting in all aspects of daily life. Ive spent the past two years working in a local emergency homeless shelter, where unfortunately so many of our guests are elderly or unable to care for themselves in some form, through this I have provided very hands on care again, in all aspects of daily lives. I love getting to connect by helping people, making somebodys life easier, and taking some of the physical demands of caring for loved ones off of family members as it really does take a team..
