Full-time nanny available early 2026 Howdy, I'm Savannah! A nanny of 6 years + former preschool teacher. I have experience with children infancy-age 7 and with families in medicine + academics. I use an "un-hurried" child-led, play-based curriculum with aspects of the respectful childcare philosophy (RIE Method). I love reading, long walks to the park, and singing all day long! I have a no-screen policy. I'm fascinated by early childhood development + psychology. My favorite thing about working with children is seeing where their interests take us. Super into bugs? We'll collect/observe them, head to museums to learn about them, sing songs + read books about them! Or maybe your kiddo is super into making messes? We'll play in the mud, splash in bubble water, and paint with our hands! Through a developmental lens, we'll have dance parties/practice cross body movement, discover shapes + sounds, and explore practical motor skill activities-building blocks of early literacy!

Savannah is incredible. She has worked with us full time for over a year, taking care of our now almost-two-year old. She has a nuanced understanding of child development and milestones that allows her to tailor activities to promote development of skills that, as a new parent (with an advanced degree in another field), were sometimes not even on my radar yet - like negotiating interactions with other kids on the playground, and using precise language (or signs) to ask for wants and needs. There is plenty of creative play, and our child has so much fun with her. Savannah is impeccably reliable and punctual, communicates clearly and constructively with us the parents, and is able to help out with kiddo laundry and tasks around the house. She’s also just a wonderful person to spend time with and talk to. We couldn’t be happier with everything she has contributed to our family.
