Hello! I am a currently a college student (Junior) who is going to school in Philadelphia, PA. I am a Social Work major, though I started off in Early Childhood Education. I am passionate about working with and helping people, especially children and families! In high school, I completed three years of Child Growth and Development courses through the Rindge Technical Arts Early Education and Care class. Through this class, I completed 2 internships at in a childcare setting where I worked with toddlers (ages ranged from 2-3 years old). Here I observed and participated in a inspired classroom. Additionally, I provided developmentally appropriate care for around 10 toddlers, alongside the teachers already working there. In the Spring of 2017 (and into the Summer), I cared for a young infant for 3 hours once a week. I also occasionally worked with an 11-year-old.
