I have been taking Spanish lessons with Celeste for over a year and I feel very lucky to have found her. For years I wanted to take Spanish classes and I know that I am not great with self-studies so I was looking for a teacher. From the very beginning, I knew that I would learn with Celeste for a long time. Now about 1 1/2 years later I understand some Spanish, read some Spanish books, and converse with very patient native speakers. The way she teaches and follows up with me is motivating. Celeste also understands that I work full time so sometimes I don't complete my homework but she is gentle in her encouragement for me to keep putting in the time to learn. She and I are on different sides of the country but technology is such that we can have a meaningful and effective class each week. Learning a language isn't easy and it can be frustrating, but if you put in the work you can become bilingual and Celeste is the perfect person to guide you in that journey.
