My experience with children is broad, ranging from constant babysitting to working in a "Kids Club" within a fitness facility. The most children I have attended at once are 10 and the most infants are four. These high capacity situations are very manageable for me since I am able to prioritize and multi-task while remaining calm and composed. My mother also runs a daycare center from our home so I am constantly experiencing interactions with children throughout my day. I am proficient in baby sign language and non-verbal communication. I exercise these skills daily with my youngest sister who is three and a half years old and autistic. This presents itself with its own unique challenges and I feel confident in stating that I am well-equipped to be a positive aspect to those in my care.
