Welcome, and thank you for viewing my profile and considering me to care for your loved one. I'm truly honored. I live in Torrington with my cat, Scarlett, and I'm comfortable with dogs as well. I have been working in healthcare and caregiving since 2012. I currently work part time in a substance abuse rehab setting while also providing caregiving support. I recently completed my general studies degree and am applying to an ultrasound program 2026. Caregiving is where my heart truly lives, and I will always have a place in this field. My experience : hospital settings such as med surg, ortho, tele, memory care, and ER, as well as nursing homes. I have experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, autism, combative behaviors, hospice and comfort care, stroke recovery, cardiac conditions, and substance use recovery. I can’t say enough about the care we received from Sasha’s when she took care of my sister. She was so detailed in her work and didn’t let anything just go. Sasha’s went above and beyond. For example when my sister fell in the middle of the night and no one was able to get her up off the floor we called on Shae at 12:45 am and she was there in less than half an hour. Sashae would call us even after her shift was was over just to check in especially if my sister had a bad day. Sasha’s was not on call 24/7 however if we needed her outside of her scheduled hours she was right there for us. She definitely went above and beyond and treated my sister like it was her sister. She would cook meals for us and make sure we had anything that we needed done before she went home even if it meant her getting out later than expected. She always showed up on time, looking very professional and always ready to work. Sasha’s never once complained about anything we asked her to do. I would highly recommend her care to anyone.
