I highly recommend Sara as a caregiver for anyone looking for someone to care for a loved one. Sara served as the primary caregiver for my mother, who suffered from and lived with Alzheimer’s disease for several years. Sara’s compassionate care ensured my mom was able to live at home with dignity and grace. Sara cared for my mom for several years between 2021 until her passing in 2025. Her duties included tending to my mother’s daily needs including personal hygiene, bathing assistance, toileting, preparing meals and snacks, exercise, and transport to and from doctor’s appointments. Sara developed a personal relationship with my mom and cared for her like family. The two often talked, laughed and danced together like old friends. Sara took the roll of caregiver very seriously. She kept detail notes on my mom’s condition including vitals, behaviors, moods, toileting, ailments and was often the first to notice any changes in my mom’s condition. Sara went above and beyond her daily tasks including frequently massaging my mom feet and other extremities to improve circulation and adjusting her position in bed to ensure my mom stayed comfortable and as healthy as possible. Sara has served as a caregiver in the past and her experience proved very valuable in my mom’s care. Sara is extremely dependable and always showed up on time for her shifts and rarely required time off. She was always willing to arrive early, stay late and make unscheduled visits, when needed, to check on my mom’s condition. Sara is very knowledgeable on dealing with non-ambulatory patients and was able to transport my mom from the bed to a wheelchair and other seating in the house. She did all in a safe and efficient manner. In addition to caring for my mom, Sara prepared meals for mom and dad and performed light housekeeping duties including laundry. Our family is very grateful for Sara and the care she provided for my mom. Sara was bright light in what could have been a dark time, and we appreciate all she has done for our family. I cannot recommend her enough for anyone looking for a caretaker for their loved one.
