I'm 40 yo. I live in Evansville, IN. I got my CNA & my LPN from Ivy Tech. I started out caring for children & elders at about 12, around 1996. In 2006, I obtained CNA certification &worked in long term care & assisted living facilities. I became an LPN in 2010 & worked in LTC for 7 years, mostly on a dementia unit. Along w/ working FT, I also worked PT at an inpt psychiatric hospital &as a prvt duty nurse for special needs peds pts in their homes for 1 year. I took 6 yrs off for mental health reasons while caring for my niece PT birth-5yo. Came back to the field &worked as a prvt duty nurse for an elderly gentleman for 3 mos to dip my toes back into the medical field/work. Then I went on to work on a dementia unit for 8 mos. CPR/AED/first aid certified, blood borne pathogen cert, able to help with daily activities, housekeeping, companionship, safety, med equip, meds, meals, errands, transportation. Insured, no record. Non-smoker. Pet friendly.
