About Sara

I am a state tested nursing assistant registered in Ohio and a Certified Nursing Assistant registered in Indiana. I was an Activities Dir. @Franklin United Methodist Community from Jan 09 to Aug 10 and after that worked in Zionsville in an assisted living facility for dementia patients. I've recently moved back home from Ohio where I worked for Ohio's Hospice of Dayton. I was responsible for the care of 19 patients throughout the course of a week. Elder care is and has always been very important to me and it can be a time when special care and attention is needed the most. I've tried to be in tune with my patients and meet them where they needed the most help and I think by collaborating, we achieved that on many levels. I believe just because someone is aging doesn't mean their value as a person is diminished in any way, nor is their dignity. I do my very best to give the individual/s I'm caring for the compassion, respect, patience, and attention they so rightly deserve.
