I have two years experience working professionally for a retirement home with adults with memory issues as well as physical limitation. This experience included feeding, bathing, activities of daily living, companionship, medication administration, and activities to engage cognitive abilities. I also provided private companion care days, evenings, and overnight including medication administration. I also have been a companion for a family member during her cancer treatments. I greatly enjoy working with older adults, especially companion care and helping them to remain as independent as possible. Additionally, I have experience petsitting, babysitting, tutoring, and working with adults with special needs.

Sara always went above and beyond to make sure my grandparents were safe, healthy and happy. I live in another state and she would always check in with me after every visit with them which made me feel closer to them. Sara doesn't miss a beat when it comes to health-related issues. She is very aware of acute changes in my grandparent's health, she would always check in with me so we could discuss any possible lifestyle or medical interventions. Sara cared for my grandfather during a planned surgery. She was on standby at the hospital making sure he was comfortable and getting the proper care. She would forward me copies of any medical documents and when appropriate recordings of appointments. Even though I wasn't getting the information first hand I always felt like I knew the full picture. Sara also ran errands, attended doctors appointments, managed medications, and planned so many fun activities with my grandparents she even took my grandfather to an air show on the beach.
