About Sara

I love helping students build confidence and reach that moment when a difficult concept finally clicks! I am comfortable tutoring in Math, English, Science, Art, and History, and I focus on understanding rather than simply memorizing answers. I take the time to see how each student learns best and adapt my approach with examples, guided practice, or discussion. I break difficult topics into manageable steps and encourage questions, creating a comfortable environment where students don't feel embarrassed about not knowing something. I am patient and happy to work at whatever pace a student needs. I also believe communication with students and their families is important, and I am happy to provide updates on progress. My goal is not only to help students succeed academically, but to help them feel more confident in their abilities!
