About Sara

I am a former special education teacher and assistant principal with extensive experience supporting students with diverse learning needs. I now work as a special education advocate, helping families better understand school systems, IEPs, evaluations, and how to support their child's learning and well-being at home and in school. My approach is calm, family-centered, and focused on meeting each child where they are. I'd describe my personality as engaging, thoughtful and mindful. I like tutoring because to have a child gain confidence and a smile of the I get it now moments melt your heart. I'm looking for a job that flexible and can work for both sides of the conversation. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my own children and family.
