About Sara

I am the middle child in a family of three sisters. I regularly watched my younger sister while growing up, and was constantly put in-charge of my 17 cousins that lived in neighboring towns. I volunteered in elementary schools throughout high school and college, tutoring and caring for children of all ages and abilities. I life guarded during the summers while in high school. One aspect of my job was to train and look after the junior lifeguards (ages 9-15). After college, I was commissioned in the navy and enjoyed 5 years of service. I now work for a consulting firm. Although I enjoy my current job, I miss the joy in caring for and interacting with children.
