About Sara

I'd describe my personality as creative, observant, and compassionate. I like working with kids because until I was 11, I spent my free time at a daycare down the street from my home. As such, the woman who raised me became my role model and I'll always respect childcare. I'm looking for a job that'll keep me busy during the summer, while also giving me the income to sustain weekly groceries and gas. I started working with kids in high school when I volunteered with a local group called Little Wiffles. The group met on Saturdays to pair volunteers with children (aged 5-10 each with their own mixture of mental or physical disabilities) whom we assisted through rounds of Wiffles ball. In my spare time, I like to read a mix of books, but I am also an avid fan of horror movies. One thing you should know about me is I have anxiety so if I seem a little awkward at first, that won't stop me from always trying my best. My skills include problem solving, creative thinking, and patience.
