About Sara

Hello, my name is Sara! I am currently a student working towards a graduate degree in occupational therapy. I have lots of experience working as a caregiver. Throughout my time at UW, I worked as a nanny and absolutely loved it. After college I worked at reading partners as a program coordinator, offering specialized tutoring for students who needed advanced reading support at an SPS school in South Seattle. This past year I have been living in Colorado working at the BOEC to make outdoor recreation accessible for people with disabilities. I also grew up with a disabled mom which has inspired me to become an occupational therapist. I am comfortable with assisting with ADLs and am happy to do most tasks. I am passionate about bringing joy to the people I work with, whether that is through living room dance parties after school or through outdoor adventures.
