About Sara

Hello! My name is Sara and I have 7 years of experience working with children! I started off as an after-school associate at an elementary school in Ames, IA in 2016. After completing my BA at Iowa State University, I pursued my MA in School Counseling at the University of Northern Iowa. I graduated with my MA in 2022. I am now a School Counselor in a town outside of the Des Moines area. During the school year, I work full time and I'm available to help your family out in the evenings after 5 o'clock. During the summer, I am available to help your family out in the evenings after 4 o'clock. I typically have two free weekends a month where I can be available all day/night. I love providing active and engaging activities/opportunities to children. Whether it's time playing at a park, board games/card games, or cooking supper together-- I'm sure I can keep your child safe and entertained!
