Hello, My name is Sara and I have 15 years of experience with newborns, toddlers and school aged children. I worked in a day care in Costa Rica, where I am from, for more than 8 years. I also have experience working with different families in the Boston area. I am caring, honest, responsible and enjoy being with kids and taking them on daily walks to the museums, aquariums, libraries and play dates. I contribute to their development by teaching them the basics such as colors, numbers, letters and reading. I am a fluent Spanish speaker and I love to speak with the children I care for in Spanish to help them learn it as a second language. My English level is basic, but I am taking classes some weekdays at night. I can read and follow instructions in English. I live in Back Bay and my schedule is very flexible. Sara worked with our family for six months starting when my daughter was 12 months. She is so caring and patient. She has a lot of energy and would take our daughter to various activities and excursions, including playgrounds, museums and the library. She is very communicative and flexible and respected our parenting style. Our daughter learned so much from Sara. She adores her and we still keep in touch. We moved out of state and were sad we couldn’t take Sara with us.
