About Sara

Hello! I worked at The Woodward School for Technology and Research in Kalamazoo, MI (Kalamazoo Public Schools) for 5 years: 4 years part-time as an undergraduate classroom aide, tutor/mentor, and playground supervisor, and 1 year full-time as a teacher in the PEEP preschool program. I have lead small and large group instruction, supervised and facilitated free play, assisted with classwork and homework for grades K-5, and created lesson plans for enrichment clubs such as arts and crafts club, creative writing club, and girls' empowerment club. I'd love to work with you and your family to develop engaging, curriculum-based activities centered around your child's interests and integrate them into your child's daily routine. I'm also able to support their classroom learning, whether it be in person or virtual. Please don't hesitate to contact me for any tutoring or learning support you may need for your child!
