I have always enjoyed working with children whether it was as a Case Manager for autistic children, Infant Care Giver at an orphanage , or Infant/Toddler Teacher at a daycare. I have over 20 years of experience working with children and 8 of those years have been as a Professional Nanny. Continuing education is a priority in my career as a Nanny which has included Montessori In Home Training and the RIE Nurturing Nanny Course. I've also worked for a couple families that introduced me to the Waldorf/Steiner philosophy. I am looking for a part time position with a family that values these approaches as well as literature, music, limited/no screen time, emotional intelligence, independent play, and time spent in nature. One of the job benefits I am seeking is the ability to bring my two and a half year old with me which could provide a great opportunity for socialization. We enjoy singing & playing music, reading, water play, nature walks and going to the park.
