About Sarah

It is my pleasure to write a review for Sarah Y. Sarah was an Assistant Teacher and I was her direct supervisor. During her time working at our center, Sarah quickly become a valued member of our team. Having previously worked in HR, she made a strong transition into early childhood education and has demonstrated a genuine commitment to learning about child development and developmentally appropriate practice. Sarah worked with infants, toddlers and 2’s and did a wonderful job recognizing and responding to each child’s needs. She was attentive to individual schedules and routines and understood the importance of meeting children where they were developmentally. Her patience, nurturing nature, and calm presence helped to create a warm and secure environment for the children in her care. Sarah consistently spoke to children with respect and kindness and engaged with them in a warm, positive, and encouraging manner. Some of her favorite activities with children included Circle Time songs, music, storytelling and sign language. Sarah also worked well with other staff members and was a supportive and collaborative member of the team. She was open to feedback and genuinely wanted to continue learning and fine-tuning her skills. Her willingness to reflect, ask questions, and grow professionally is a great quality and will continue to support her growth as an early childhood educator. In addition, Sarah built warm and engaging relationships with parents. She communicated in a friendly and approachable manner and helped families feel connected to their children’s classroom experience. Overall, she brings patience, warmth, respect, and a strong desire to learn to her work with children and families. I most definitely see a bright future in early childhood education for Sarah!
