For over 10 years, I've been dedicated to helping students with unique learning styles/special needs to achieve success. My graduate degree and certified teacher status, along with my experience creating Individualized Education Programs (IEP), allow me to tailor my approach to each child's particular needs. I believe every student possesses untapped potential, and I strive to create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment where they can flourish. I assess learning styles by varying my teaching strategies, encouraging open communication, and checking in with parents regularly. To keep students motivated, I connect challenging topics to their interests, celebrate small wins, and break down complex problems. Communication is key, so I prioritize open dialogue to build trust and ensure optimal outcomes. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and seeing their confidence blossom is the most rewarding part of tutoring.
