About Sarah

Hi! I am Sarah, but I go by Suds. I am in my last year of art school, and am looking to be a caretaker this summer. I come into childcare with a creative approach, and I meet the child where they are at to provide a safe, curious, and playful space. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, creative, and considerate. I like working with kids because as much as I teach them, they also teach me so much. I'm looking for a job that provides clear instructions for care, alongside strong communication. I started working with kids when I was 16 years old. I have cared for children ages 2-12 and feel comfortable jumping into almost any situation. I had a sustained babysitting job for 2 years for a 4-year-old with ADHD. I have a strong consideration of safety as we move through activities and an ability to be both playful while also setting boundaries. I love to help a child build self-confidence through crafts and play. In my spare time I like to take walks with my friends, dance, and cook!
