I'm a PhD student at USU and have cared for children and animals ever since I was young, including regular nanny positions for multiple families before I moved from Salt Lake, as well as pet care jobs in Logan. One beloved family I worked with had two children with autism. I am sensitive to others' ways of being and am able to adjust my way of caring for them to meet where they are. I am gentle, kind, attentive, loving, and imaginative. I am also a researcher, musician, writer, and outdoors lover, and I love to incorporate enriching activities into care, since it brings me joy to help others explore the world. I also have Wilderness First Aid training (which includes CPR training). I am also happy to help clean up around the house, do drop-offs, prepare meals, or really anything that would help make your life easier. I can't wait to meet with you to see if we're a good match! She is deeply patient, wise, and intuitive, with a rare ability to step into a child’s world. She has a gift for entering a child’s inner landscape, speaking the language of play, awe, wonder, and curiosity with ease and respect. In her presence, play never seems to be rushed or directed, it feels honored. Children, adults, animals, creatures of all kind, have a sense of feeling safe, seen, and free to unfold exactly as they are. She is the kind of adult every child deserves in their life, and the kind of caregiver any family would be profoundly lucky to have.
