About Sarah

Hello and thank you for considering me for your care! My name is Sarah, and I'd describe my personality in 3 words as: energetic, creative, and kind. One of my main reasons for wanting to work with children is: I love how much joy kids see in the world, and being able to watch them learn and grow allows me to see things that used to be mundane and uninteresting in a whole new light. Ideally, I'd love to work for one family so I can give them all my attention and tailor the learning to what they need specifically. Finding a rhythm and a routine that works for both of us is very important to me. I started working with kids when I was 18 while I went to WWU and took ECE classes. After graduating, I got a job at Laventure YMCA ELC. Since then, I have had 3. 5yrs of paid experience with kids ages 0-6. I'm skilled in providing emotional regulation and creating fun and intentional activities that foster learning and growth. I'm happy to provide recommendations upon request!
