About Sarah

I am looking for night (third shift) hours. After working as a stay-at-home mom for over 10 years, I went to graduate school to become a teacher. Unfortunately, after three years, I developed vocal cord issues that forced me to stop teaching. I started an Amazon business, but when that was no longer profitable, a friend asked if I could be a caregiver for her son, who was in a car accident. Taking this position helped me see how much it relates to teaching and what a special joy it is to tend to others. I stopped working with him when he moved into a group home. I have experience assisting another person with his daily needs including meal preparation, safe eating habits to prevent choking, medication management, and hygiene. I work to ensure his safety at all times. I also have experience working with an older lady. We have enjoyed filling our days with various social, recreational, and leisure activities. I believe I have a caring, loving, humorous and fun approach.
