A bond with an animal feels like the purest form of companionship to me (so grounding!) and I connect with them intuitively--I have a gift for winning over even the most wary. I value being someone who really sees others, animals included. I do my best work with clear expectations and opportunity for real one-on-one focus. I'm attentive, present, and genuinely invested in their wellbeing. I started caring for animals of students at a school I worked at, which grew into long-term, word-of-mouth relationships. In my free time I read, research genealogy, and anything creative. I'm especially great with sensitive dogs who need a calm, steady presence.
