About Sarah

Hi! I'm Sarah and I've been babysitting for about eight years. I have worked with kids ages 2 to 11 years old. I strive to be patient and kind but firm about rules, especially safety. I love coming up with fun games and activities for kids that get them away from screens: anything from baking to sports to lemonade stands. I hope to be a great role model for any kid I interact with, as kids learn from watching others. And of course, I always want to make sure they have fun! I'd describe my personality as creative, thoughtful, and empathetic. I like working with kids because of that spark, energy, and unbridled creativity that only kids have. I started working with kids when I was 12. I've babysat for several families ever since, working with up to four children. In my spare time, I like to read, perform in plays and musicals, and run. My skills include getting kids to clean up, coming up with games and activities to engage kids, and solving arguments between siblings.
