Hello! I am 37 years old and I am currently in my senior year at Temple University. I graduated from BCCC with my associates in Early and Elementary Education. I began nannying full time 10 years ago. I made the decision to nannying because of my love of guiding children. There is nothing more wonderful than the look of amazement on a child's face when they master a skill they have been working toward. As a nanny I really like to stress independence, kindness, and flexibility. It is important to me that the children in my care learn to do for themselves. Teaching children to do for themselves is not always the easiest, but I find it pays off in the end. Kindness is something everyone can use. Children are people and deserve to be treated kindly. Flexibility comes in handy because as all parents know the unexpected is always possible with children. I find that having independent children allows us to fill our days with fun things!

Sarah has been a nanny with our family for about 4 years. We have twin boys and Sarah started working with us when our boys were just over 3 years old. She is wonderful. Sarah is caring, responsible, communicative and knowledgeable about all aspects of raising and caring for young children. She seamlessly fit into our household and our twin boys loved having Sarah with us. She is professional, but also warm and personable. We always trusted her with our children. Sarah came up with so many great activities for our boys to do, both in the house and outdoors. She helped one of my boys who is a very picky eater expand his palette. She is consistent with rules and very transparent and open with our boys and with us. She is kind, patient, and creative. We appreciate her open communication style and her dedication to thinking of and about our boys as they went through different stages of childhood. Sarah became part of our family. Any family who works with her moving forward will be lucky. We would recommend Sarah to anyone.
