About Sarah

Hello! I'm Sarah! I'm an educator with 8 years of experience in the classroom. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade in public school settings. I am certified in Early Childhood through 6th grade, with supplemental certifications in English as a Second Language, Special Education, and Gifted/Talented Education. Encouraging and learning alongside my students brings me a lot of joy. I have been told I have a quiet sense of leadership, and that my students value the peaceful and kind atmosphere I provide in my classroom. I also have experience with private tutoring. I am looking to grow my private tutoring services for parents of elementary aged students who are looking for a personalized curriculum and growth plan in any subject area. I am able to come to your home, or meet in a centralized location such as the library. Some of my hobbies include being outdoors and traveling. I am an avid reader and book hoarder. I love staying active and hanging out with my lazy, spoiled dog.
